Dual Sensor with Alarm Sensor
The Dual Sensor Controller automatically controls the liquid level between a high and low sensor. When the liquid level drops and exposes the lower sensor, the unit will start to fill the trap. After the liquid nitrogen contacts the upper sensor the solenoid is deactivated, stopping the fill cycle.
Ideal applications: Level controlling in medium to large traps and reservoirs.

TIME CYCLE LN2 LEVEL CONTROLLER (SNT-6)

This controller automatically fills for a set amount of time. When the level drops and exposes the sensor, the solenoid will activated and start the transfer. As the level begins to rise above the sensor the timer will start. The time interval is adjustable from the front control knob, it's nominal range is 0 - 6 Min.  Ideal Applications: Level controlling in small to medium traps and reservoirs.

DELAY TIME CYCLE LEVEL CONTROLLER (SNTDF-6)

Liquid Nitrogen Level Controller SNTDF-6 The delay fill timer controller allows for the time between fills to be controlled. The standard interval is 0 to 20 hours, other interval either longer or shorter maybe ordered. When the time cycle expires the unit will activate thereby filling the trap. When the liquid comes in contact with the sensor, the solenoid will close and the timer will restart.
Ideal Applications: Traps where you can not get a sensor to the low liquid level. Sensor mounts in vent line or top of trap.

SINGLE SENSOR LN2 MONITOR (SN1-6)

The single sensor controller activates a solenoid valve when the liquid level drops and exposes the sensor. The solenoid is deactivated when the level rises and the sensor is immersed.
Ideal applications: Level monitors and alarm indicators.

SINGLE SENSOR AUTOMATIC DEWAR FILLER (SN2-6ADF)

The SN2-6ADF is a push button operated dewar filler that is designed for manual operation to start the fill cycle and an automatic shutoff. The sensor is positioned so that it will come into contact with the liquid when the trap is full. To operate the fill cycle, press the button located on the front panel. When the dewar is full and the sensor is immersed, the unit automatically signals for the liquid nitrogen to stop flowing. Liquid Nitrogen Level Controller SN2-6ADF

      SENSOR Encapsulated 5/32" O.D. x 3/8" long, on 8' glass sheathed lead wires. Unlimited lengths are possible by splicing 2 conductor, #22 wire. Sensors will negotiate 90° curves in 1/4" O.D. x .035" wall tubing with a radius as small as 1-1/2".
      SPLASH SHIELD 3/8" O.D. x 1-1/4" long, on SN2 upper sensors & SNTDF sensors.

ALARM OPTIONS

All LN2 controller may have an alarm option added to them. There is a separate sensor added for either the standard alarm option or a valve operator alarm option. The standard alarm is low level alarm. It is activated when the sensor is not in liquid. If a "high" alarm is custom ordered then the alarm indicates when the sensor is in liquid.
  • STANDARD ALARM OPTION

  • When the alarm is activated and the alarm switch is on, you will hear a buzzer. With the switch turned off, the buzzer is off.

  • VALVE OPERATOR ALARM OPTION

  • The alarm sensor circuitry may also be attach to an 115V outlet that will activate or deactivate depending on the alarm sensor state. The option come standard from the factory with the outlet activated when the alarm sensor is immersed in liquid nitrogen.


CONTROLLER KITS

All controllers can be supplied in kit form. These kits include the PC board, sensors, mounting hardware, and wiring instructions.

SENSOR INSTALLATION NOTES

Sensors work on the principals of thermal conductivity. They are internally heated to help differentiate between the gas and liquid phase of the cryogenic liquid. If they are in liquid the heat is conducted away. In gas the sensors warm up and are interpreted by the controller as being out of liquid. When mounting, the sensor tips MUST NOT come in contact with thermally conductive materials, such as steel. Also the sensor tips should not be covered with any material.
